The Northern Music Collective (NMC) is an initiative based in the North East of England that involves the cities of Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland and Durham, as well as the surrounding areas of Tyne and Wear, and County Durham.
The NMC aims to support the North East music scene, both at regional and city scales, by improving communication and facilitating cooperation between individuals and organisations working in music. Additionally, the NMC hopes to offer encouragement and support to anyone interested in pursuing a career in the music industry.
Furthermore, the NMC also aims to assist artists by offering industry advice to musicians and bands, as well as providing a platform from which to elevate the North East’s reputation in relation to its music scene.
